フィリピン観光省の招待を頂きまして、３月に開催された現地英語学校の視察ツアーに参加し、4日間フィリピンに行ってきました。現地にてメトロー・マニラの英語教育施設（留学）の視察を行いました。視察内容は様々でした。日本人、フィリピン人や韓国人が運営する学校もあり、英語留学を専門とする学校から現地大学の施設まで見させて頂きました。非常に充実した視察内容でした。マニラについては危ないイメージはある方が多いと言われますが、今回訪問した学校はいずれも非常に綺麗で安全な施設ばかりでした。
現在は、JAPFで企業様の英語教育に関するアドバイスを行うことも多くあり、留学を考えている企業様も多いように見えます。その場合、フィリピンはコスパがとてもよいため、よく選ばれています。

Having received an invitation from the Department of Tourism of the Philippines (Osaka Office), in March our staff went to visit the Philippines for four days. Together with members from Japanese educational institutions or travel agencies, we visited various schools for English education in the area of Metro Manila. We were able to see a lot of different schools, ranging from schools founded by Japanese, Koreans or Filipinos, schools only for English education and local universities. Many people have a slightly dangerous image, when it comes to the Philippines, or especially Manila, however, all of the places we visited were situated very well and were absolutely clean and safe.
At the moment it is not rare, that we get the chance to advise companies about company-intern English education and many would like to include a studying abroad experience. It that case the Philippines are a very good choice because of the very good cost-performance.
