2016年9月6日（火）から5日間「はばたくウチナーンチュ応援事業」という沖縄県外就職支援インターンシッププログラムで沖縄から大学生３人が日本アジア振興財団の研修に参加しています。

初日の６日は「駐大阪大韓民国総領事館　駐日韓国文化院」と「在大阪カンボジア王国名誉領事館」を訪問しました。

駐日韓国文化院では、職員の方が韓国の紹介とともにミニ韓国語レッスンをしてくださり、挨拶の練習や実際に自分の名前をハングルで書きました。ハングル文字は形が独特で、難しいイメージでしたがローマ字のように子音と母音を組み合わせてできているので、組み合わせる文字さえ覚えれば読みはできるんだろうなと思いました。また、日本語と同じ単語も多く「約束（ヤクソク）」や「市民（シミン）」は韓国語でもある様です。他には、韓国の楽器や鉄の食器に触れ、民族衣装を着用しました。ちょうど、民族衣装のチマチョゴリがレンタルでセンターになかったため、特別に王と王妃のみが着ることのできる衣装をご用意していただきました。ふんわりした外観なので日本の着物のように結構重い印象でしたが、結構軽かったので驚きました。衣装の裾は長くできているため足元は見えませんが中に履いている王妃のフラットパンプスのような靴はとても可愛かったです。また西日本一の韓国の書物を扱う図書館や写真が展示されているスペースもあり、短い時間でしたがとても有意義な時間が過ごせました。

次に、カンボジア名誉領事館では、主に日本からカンボジアへ行く人のためのビザ申請が行われていました。日本のパスポートは観光ならビザ申請が不要な場合が多いのに、国交も長いカンボジアへはビザが要るのですがその理由を知りとても驚きました。私たちが支払う申請費用はカンボジアの政府へ渡り、国のために使用される様です。これまでアセアン諸国の戦争に巻き込まれたり、国内で内戦があったりで地雷が今なお地面に埋まっていますが、国のお金では処理することもできず被害者が出ざるを得ない状況にあること、教育者不足でいつまでも子供たちに十分な教育ができないことなどが課題とされているようです。仲がいいからこそ支払われる申請費用はぜひ国の改善のために使われてほしいです。

二日目の７日の午前中はフィリピン観光省を訪問しました。ここでもフィリピンへ行く人のサポートや留学のプログラムの紹介がありました。特に沖縄からだと近い様で何も知らないフィリピンについて職員の方がわかりやすくお話してくれました。気候もそうですが人の緩い感じや優しい感じがどこか沖縄に似ているなと思いました。英語が話せて、平均年齢がものすごく若いフィリピンではこれからの発展が期待できますね！途中、事務所のフィリピン人の方と英会話をしましたがフレンドリーさと彼女の笑顔はとても居心地がよかったです。安価で効果的なフィリピン留学も行ってみたいなと思いました。

Since 6th to 10th September, 3students from Okinawa are participating Internship program of Okinawa in the JAPF.

The following is their reports of the first 2 days.

First day we visited Korean Cultural Center Osaka and Honorary Consultant of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Osaka Japan.

In Korean Cultural Center, we had Korean lesson and tried to write our own names in Korean. Korean looks very difficult but it was just simple. Such as Roman alphabets. Maybe easier than English. Also we have same meaning words. And we saw instruments, dishes and worn traditional dress. It was not a usual dress, it was a really special one(for king and queen). The dress looks heavy like our kimono but it was light. The shoes of queen were beautiful too. We stayed not so long time there but the time was valuable.

Next, in Honorary Consulate of Cambodia, mainly staffs are helping visa application for Japanese. Normally Japanese people do not need visa for sight seeing but Cambodia need. This money from visa application will be used for Cambodia because Cambodia is poor. We were surprised about it. In Cambodia, there are some problems. One is “land mines”. No one knows where they have land mines so just victims increases. Another one is “education”. Cambodia doesn’t have enough teachers then many children cannot receive good education. I want our money to be used for the development of country.

Finally, on 7th September, we visited Philippine Department of Tourism Osaka Office.　Also here,　staffs were helping people who will go to Philippines and introducing study program in Philippines. Philippine is close to Okinawa but we do not know so much so a staff told us briefly. I thought Philippine is similar to Okinawa. There are a lot of young people and they speak English so this country will be better. An officer from Philippines spoke good English and I loved her smile very much. Studying in Philippines is cheaper and sounds so fun.
